The purpose of this church is to fulfill the commandment of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, saying: “Go then and
make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you...” (Matt 28:19-20). The meaning of
discipleship is defined by Jesus’ own words as stated in the Holy Bible (i.e., John 8:31, Matt 7:15-23, John 15:
8,5,16,14, and etc.). Therefore a true disciple of Jesus Christ is a person who steadfastly believes in Him and
continually follows Him (John 14:12, and Matt 16:24, John 12:26 respectively), to (1) persistently live in Christ
and Christ in him/her, and (2) to keep Christ’s words in his/her heart and live in accordance with them.
Consequently, a true disciple will (1) “bear (produce) much fruit” of the Spirit of God, and (2) “walk and
conduct himself in the same way in which He walked and conducted Himself” (John 15:8, and 1 John 2:6
respectively).
